Solar Energy Experience

I founded ROCAES (IOENERGY) to expand my entrepreneurial experience into renewable energy, developing residential photovoltaic solutions and advanced electrical-energy monitoring using eGauge technology. The venture combines solar generation, engineering, and granular energy data to better understand and optimize how electricity is produced and consumed.

Expanding my experience from Oil & Gas into renewable energy, I founded ROCAES (IOLITE) to develop residential solar energy solutions combining photovoltaic generation with advanced energy monitoring. Through ROCAES, I gained hands-on experience in PV system design and installation, electrical energy analysis, and granular consumption monitoring using eGauge technology.

The venture reflects my broader vision of integrating engineering, data, and technology to improve how energy is generated, measured, understood, and utilized.

I founded ROCAES as a data-driven solar energy venture focused on measuring, understanding, and optimizing residential energy consumption and generation. Our business model combined photovoltaic systems with eGauge real-time energy monitoring installed at residential electrical panels, allowing us to quantify energy consumption and solar generation at a granular level and evaluate the economic payback of each installation based on actual measured performance.

Beyond solar generation, we developed innovative methods to evaluate air-conditioning system performance by monitoring electrical parameters, including Power Factor, every second in real time. This approach provided greater visibility into household energy behavior and opportunities for improving energy efficiency.

ROCAES completed multiple residential installations integrating solar PV systems and eGauge monitoring technology and participated in an international solar-energy symposium in Las Vegas, Nevada. We also established commercial partnerships with SMA, a German inverter manufacturer, and KYOCERA for photovoltaic modules, working with their U.S. operations in San Diego, California.

ROCAES represented an early integration of renewable energy, real-time data acquisition, analytics, and engineering—using measured data not only to generate electricity, but to understand its technical performance and economic value.
